Galatoire Foundation supports Critical Local Nonprofits – Biz New Orleans
New Orleans – Galatooire’s Restaurant and Galatoire Foundation presented eight local non -profit organizations with revenues from their annual mass auctions. Food lovers and generous patrons gathered in the main dining room on Galatoire’s first floor, where the lively lunch crowd celebrated the presentation of subsidy and micro-grant controls. This year the Christmas and Mardi Gras tenders raised over $ 440,000.
The mass auctions of the Galatoire Foundation raises funds to help non -profit in reaching their goals for the public good. This year, the revenues benefited from the Galatoire Foundation and eight other local non-profits. The two meal partners, Stem Nola and Volunteers of America in the South -Louisiana, received subsidies, while the six beneficiaries of micro subsidies were the edible school New Orleans, Ignatian Corps Corps New Orleans, News, the Son of a Saint, the Great Commemorative Wing of the Air Force and the School.
Since 2006, the Galatoire Foundation has collected over $ 4.3 million for charities in Louisiana. Last year Stem Nola organized 84 stem events in 36 cities in 14 states, reaching over 40,000 young participants. At the beginning of 2025, Stem Nola and Stem Global Action Network affected over 200,000 students since 2013.
The other subsidy beneficiaries of the Galatoire Foundation was the volunteers of the South American mass partner, the Louisiana, whose parent organization, volunteers of America, was established in 1896.
